Thing # 4 RSS (Really Simple Syndication)and News Readers

Holy Cow...My brain is hurting from trying to expand again ! Or maybe I could say "what brain" ...Could I have used it all up before?? :)
As I "worked" my way through Thing 4 I wondered once more when/how does one ever use all this stuff. I opened a Google Reader and was pleasantly surprised that all my Blogger friends' information "just appeared!" Will work on adding more Blogs on other interests later. Looks like something I might could really get into, since I am always searching for something for work or personal use. Notice that I put the whole name of RSS (Really Simple Syndication) in parentheses in my title, since this is one acronym I want to remember and it will take some "imprinting" on this old brain to remember it without prompts. Also checked out the blog searching tools on Google and more. Enough "Buzzin" from me ....The Bee aka Barbara... for today!

Thing # 3 Blog Search Tools

I was amazed at the number of blog sites that are out there. I looked into Technorati and a few others, but liked About.com since I use ASK.com a lot. It's almost beyond comprehension that all this stuff gets used.

Thing # 2...What is Web 2.0

Well.....WOW !!!

So-o-o much to learn about Library 2.0....compressed into short bursts of time. Was interested in the Definition on Wikipedia that was commented on for Library 2.0. Is going to be interesting to say the least!

Thing # 1...Post a Blog and Register

Hey,

This is my first go at blogging. Was not to-o-o hard to set it up my blog, my choice was blogger.com. Since I have a MySpace page, I was comfortable with some of the tasks. After I registered my blog and I was ready for my next assignment.
